Bob joined VCT in June 2019, and his practice is focused on real estate finance and development, corporate finance, and partnership law and taxation.
Bob’s practice is focused on real estate finance and development, corporate finance, and partnership law and taxation. He has substantial experience representing financial institutions, community development organizations, and real estate developers, including those involved in the use of historic rehabilitation tax credits, low-income housing credits, and New Markets Tax Credits. Bob also represents businesses and financial institutions in commercial loan and equity capital transactions. Prior to joining VCT, Bob served as a founding member of Reed Weitkamp Schell & Vice PLLC.
Bob’s honors include: an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory; The Best Lawyers in America, Real Estate Law; Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business – Real Estate, Band 1; Kentucky Super Lawyers, Real Estate; and Fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
Bob received his law degree from the University of Kentucky in 1978, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Managing Editor of the University of Kentucky Law Journal, and he received his B.A. from the University of Kentucky in 1975, where he graduated with High Distinction.
